...alive after my first sheffield all nighter

i didnt even intend to stay out all night
it got to a point, after the shitty after party
that i wanted to go back to my room
considering it was literally across the road from the current flat
but they were like, come back to mine
usually i would resist
then i remembered the stepping stones
and said yes
had a secret smile to myself  recalling yes man
got inb the cab
and stayed and ate noodles and pizza
talked about the conspiracy of disney
and if you were born gay
amongst otrher things
as everyone was going to bed
(blow up mattress, bed, couch)
i declared i was going to walk
heck the sky was lightening and i never get to walk around in the silence
something i love
they resisted
i persisted
and here i am
was nothing really special but im glad i said yes
